Through this initiative, we give individuals without rental history a chance to build a reliable foundation. By offering safe, stable rental properties, we allow participants to establish a positive rental history, develop sustainable living practices, and eventually transition into the rental market on their own terms.
Second Chance Employment Initiative
We offer ex-offenders the opportunity to rebuild their lives by providing fair access to employment. By breaking down barriers to work, we help individuals reintegrate into society, offering a fresh start and creating a supportive environment for them to thrive as contributing members of the community
Drive to Independence
To promote independence and ensure individuals have the means to support themselves, we offer interest-free loans to purchase vehicles. This initiative helps remove transportation barriers, making it easier for people to commute to work, maintain employment, and continue on their path to financial independence.
First Step Workforce Program
Through this initiative, we offer apprenticeship and entry-level employment opportunities to individuals who are on government assistance or have no previous employment history. By providing hands-on training and real-world experience, we empower these individuals to gain valuable skills, build their resumes, and take the first step toward sustainable employment and financial independence.
Other Support
Licence to Thrive
We provide driving lessons and support for individuals without a licence, helping them acquire the necessary skills and confidence to pass their driving test. This initiative aims to remove transportation barriers by ensuring that individuals have the ability to travel to work or job sites, enabling them to secure and maintain stable employment and personal independence.
Transit to Work
To ensure that individuals who are working toward obtaining a vehicle or driver’s license can continue commuting to work, we provide support through the distribution of Opal cards. This initiative helps bridge the gap by covering transportation costs, ensuring that individuals can maintain their employment and mobility while they work toward achieving their long-term transportation goal
